Polk Street Hidden Gem
It was a sunny day today, October 6th, 2018, I walked through the street of San Francisco around 3 pm and was able to catch a little bit of the Blue Angles annual show. There were Blue Angels forming a line formation in the sky. I could see the jetstream mark from Blue Angels' maneuver from Cunningham street. See the white curve in the blue sky in the picture above.
Today's walk took me to Polk district to the Upcider, a cider house & gastropub. Upcider serves a wide variety of cider, beer, wine, and light food. They claim to have the widest cider selection in the USA. I was very excited because the menu shows some rare non-Californian ciders such as Ciderboys Strawberry Magic and Common Cider Blood Orange Tangerine.
"You can do a tasting menu of six different ciders for $20. The draft ciders are really good. The place is not too crowded and the foods are good for pairing with ciders. Just found a little hidden gem in Polk street."
Totally love this place. For sure recommend it to anyone who loves draft ciders. Cheers!
