Fruity strawberry rhubarb cider
Today my cider hunt took me to a well known organic grocery store in Berkeley called the Berkeley Bowl West. The Strawberry Rhubarb Embark Craft cider grabbed my attention because of the strawberry picture on it. It was sold by the can unlike the other ciders where you have to get in a bundle. Despite of the name, it is actually an apple cider aged with Strawberry and Rhubarb juice. According to the website, it is a seasonal cider so I thought I should give it a try.
"It feels like summer. It smells and tastes like strawberry with a hint of rhubarb, with a fruity tartness. It has 4.5% alcohol content in it, very light."
"The drink reminded me of my strawberry picking experience, light and joyous. It is good to be paired with a spicy Asian food. I will give it a 4.0 out of 5.0."
