Lemorton Poire Sparkling Perry

Updated: Jan 10, 2019

French Imported Sparkling Cider

As explained by the Vintage Berkeley wine store owner, as I explore their cider and wine options, cider making started in French using the same yeast that was used in champagne. That's why the original cider has a sparkling bubble texture similar to one in champagne. The Didier Lemorton's Poire was imported from French before it dropped to Vintage Berkeley. He said, "I highly recommend this one."

Didier Lemorto is a generation of award winner cider maker in French. They made the Poire Sparkling Perry with a combination of 70% pear and 30% apple.

"It is indeed a very special cider. I can see small soft bubbles flying from the bottom of the light yellow liquid in my glass cup. It has the fresh fruit opening note. As a I drink the cider, I can taste a very sweet apple flavor with note of caramel vanilla. Very fresh and sweet, almost taste like a dessert wine. Supper! I give it a 4.6 out of 5.0."

Really enjoyed this one. Highly recommend for a dessert wine lover.
