A Texas Cider
I got to travel to Texas for Christmas 2018. Despite of the business of going around to see the town and meeting friends and family, I am keeping my eyes on hunting the local cider while I am here. As we did our grocery for Christmas dinner, I checked out the local grocery store's cider section and picked up the Austin Texas Argus Fermentables Roselle.
Austin Texas is the first Texas cidery started in 2010. They are known to produce a french style-American cider that is sparkling and dry, with some fruity or florally hint. Their fermentable products are the cider products that adopt a more modern American cider style and are packaged in cans instead of wine bottle.
"Upon tasting. Once poured into a glass, you can see a transparent raspberry colored liquid. You can taste the apple dry flavor right away with a hint of floral notes of hibiscus, lemon, and cranberry. It has a lot of little soft bubble, sparkling. Very light and dry. I'd give it a 3.6 out of 5.0."
