CiderElla a cider lover diary
Not until my recent exposure to the Mission district that I've heard of the term Dive Bar.
"A Dive Bar is a well-worn, unglamorous bar, often serving a cheap, simple selection of drinks to a regular clientele." - Urban Dictionary
A dive bar in the Mission district in San Francisco would usually be decorated with red lights and skeleton ornaments due to the Mexican culture influence to the street. (Or maybe just in my opinion L.O.L).
Last weekend I walked into a convenient dive bar in at the Mission, after filling my tummy with a couple of slices of fancy Italian thin slice pizza from Pizzeria Delfina at the corner of Guerrero and 18th St, then ordered a cider. As expected, the bar serves the Golden State Cider - Mighty Dry, the most commonly served apple cider in San Francisco area based on my experience.
It is pretty much your average cider. Crisp and light, very refreshing! Not my favorite but I would drink it in any casual evening. It is a 3.8 out of 5.0 for a sweet tooth like me.
Let me know what you think of this brand and fell free to add the name of your favorite cider brand in the comment section! Cheers!!!
