French Style Sparkling Cider
The Horse & Plow Cider with Hops & Honey is one of the two ciders that I bought from Vintage Berkeley. So, this one brown glass of bottle is what happen when a wine maker starts making cider. They fermented apples from Sonoma and Napa valley county, put hops for flavoring, and honey instead of sugar. The result is a light yellow sparkling apple cider with beer and honey taste.
"As my boyfriend quoted, tastes like a beer. This one is good for beer lovers. It has the fruity apple taste from the apple cider with a hop and honey note that reminds you of a very fruity beer. It is dry and tart. The sparkling in the cider kind of reminds me of a champagne. It is unique but since I am not a fan of beer I will give it a 3.6 out of 5.0."
